Horne acted as the Design/Builder on this worthwhile project. Horne's expertise allowed the accommodation of the City's demanding requirements by utilizing the flexibility and versatility of Pre-Engineered Building systems; we used a Pre-Engineered Steel Building System for the Main Building, a Pre-Engineered Wood Building for the Storage Barn and a Pre-Engineered Aluminum frame building for the Sand/Salt Shed.

New Frontier Industries

Horne Construction worked very closely with the Northeast Resource Recovery Associates (the Parent Company of NFI) to bring this project from concept to completion. This $1.1 million facility, which recycles mixed plastics, is the first of its kind in the country.

Land Rover Bedford

This project garnered several awards. It received the "Excellence in Construction" award from the New Hampshire and Vermont Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) organization. It was judged "Best of New England" and "Best of Country" for Automobile Dealerships from Star Building Systems. In addition, it received a first place award for the "Best Automobile Dealership in the Country" from Metal Construction News.
