Horne Construction served as the
Construction Manager for this 147,000 square foot, $5.3 Million
renovation/addition project.
Horne transformed an outdoor courtyard into
a new Computer and Library, converted Locker Rooms into a new Kitchen and
transformed the old Gymnasium into a new Cafeteria.
Partway through the
project and while already keeping an arduous schedule, it was discovered that
the school's underground sewer system had been improperly installed years
before. In order to maintain the schedule, Horne put crews on seven days a
week, twenty-four hours per day to replace the aging piping buried twelve feet
beneath the classrooms.
By the end of the project Horne had renovated
virtually the entire High School including adding a new Four-Classroom Wing, a
new Gymnasium and a new Main Entrance.
Once again, Horne Construction
finished a project on time, on budget and safely. |
