This 30,000 square foot facility is the fourteenth project that Horne Construction has completed for the City of Rochester.
With a full basement and three floors (two of which are currently occupied), the City has built a modern, expandable building that includes a state-of-the-art communications center for dispatch and emergency management, an indoor shooting range for training and practice, video-monitored holding cells, and meeting rooms for both department and community use.
Despite the fact that poor site conditions required the building to have additional structural reinforcing incorporated into its design to comply with earthquake standards, Horne was able to bring this project in on time, safely and under budget.
