Horne Construction worked very closely with the Northeast Resource Recovery Associates (the Parent Company of NFI) to bring this project from concept to completion. This Design/Build Manufacturing Facility encompasses 22,000 sf. Based on the needs of the customer Horne chose to use a Pre-Engineered Star Metal Building. This $1.1 million facility, which recycles mixed plastics, is the first of its kind in the country. Horne worked closely with the owner throughout the project to keep costs down, in spite of higher than normal site costs and the requirement for an on-site cistern for fire protection, Horne brought the Project in on time and under budget.
