This 20,200 square
foot, three story medical facility was built for York Hospital
and houses the Great Works Family Practice and a York Hospital
physical therapy clinic.
The site
is on a busy, two-lane state road that runs in front of the
building, and a narrow residential side street. Limited parking
and storage space at the rear of the building made this compact
urban lot challenging at times.
South Berwick,
Maine has many historic residential and commercial buildings
in the downtown area and every effort was made by Horne Construction
and the architect to make this building compatible with the
