Horne Construction was the
Construction Manager for this close to half million-dollar renovation
project.
Working closely with the New London Hospital and the design
firm of Hastings/Hoffman Interiors, we set out to create an elderly care unit
within the hospital that offered a distinct departure from the usual
institutional feel of a hospital.
All of the renovations and additions
were carried out without disruption of the day-to-day activities of both the
hospital and the Clough Center.
Included in the project were extensive
renovations to the nurse's station, day room, lobby and corridors. One of the
premier renovations was the addition of a sun room to the dining room, which
provided sunlight and a warm atmosphere to the senior living
center. |
